The Shepherd’s Staff

“..thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

After more than fifty years in ministry, my wife, Darlene and I decided to step gracefully into retirement. Not an easy decision for a couple who has spent nearly all their adult life in Pastoral Ministry. However, advancing age and health issues make it appropriate.

We served the final twenty-eight years ministering to the wonderful and loving congregation at Norwalk Assembly of God Church located in Norwalk, California. Those were refreshing and rewarding years.

Having stepped from full time service, I paused to think how in retirement I could continue being a blessing. We decided to create this site as an avenue to share from our heart to yours, inspirational messages, devotionals and videos, that I hope will be a blessing to minister friends and those in the Body of Christ.

I remain in His service and pray you will be blessed and encouraged by the messages God laid upon my heart.
